Read the true story of how a simple accident turned into a homeowner's nightmare.
Garage doors are made tough enough to take a lot of abuse. Other than the daily ups and downs, they often become the perfect backdrop for sporting play; tennis balls, soccer goalies, and basketball enthusiasts love the versatility of a good-quality garage door. Dents and dings from snow shovels, throwers, and plow scrapers, even small stones and such being hurled from a passing leaf blower or lawnmower, make constant contact.
However, something more impending happens every once in a while, and in the blink of an eye, the outcome is beyond belief.
This happened to a client in Brookline, MA., when they backed the car into their garage door.
The garage door was bent, and they were unable to open it and take the car out. They called us, and Ronen was on his way.
The first thing upon arrival was to get the car out of the garage so the client could go on with their daily activities.
The next step was to order a new panel, as it was just the bottom panel that sustained the brunt of the damage, with some twisting to the side rail and top of the wooden frame. Install the new panel, fix the bent trucking, and lubricate the system.
